The Skinkers Desktop Agent provides an audited, ‘always on’ connection to the user while it is running. The agent can notify the user when a new message arrives in a number of ways, from high impact graphics and video that could overlay the screen, to a discreet flashing icon in the system tray.

The business and/or user decide on which communications require the appropriate level of message impact. For example, an important company notification or news item would require a very visible and rapidly delivered notification. A compliance notification may require the user to be tested on their understanding of the content of the communication with a detailed audit trail provided. An update on the menu in the canteen could be driven through a ticker or widget.
