The future of ShouldKnow information

Skinkers is on a journey to develop the most effective ways to deliver ShouldKnow information to people in the most cost efficient way.

Skinkers roadmap
Skinkers technology roadmap supports our vision of establishing a new communication paradigm, one that encompasses and augments traditional digital communication channels through a sophisticated, enterprise class, communication management platform.

Future enhancements
Future enhancements to our products will include support for more input streams, complex event aggregation, more sophisticated user controlled rules and routing and more supported devices and communication channels. Other product directions include the close integration of our technology into existing CRM and packaged ERP applications, and the potential for embedded technology agreements. Other future enhancements will be focused on enhancing the user experience and improving options for the network and transport layer. We will also be developing a cross platform desktop agent to support multiple operating system environments.

Skinkers and Microsoft
One very important innovation Skinkers is currently working on is the commercialising of peer-to-peer technology for the delivery of live content and real- time messaging, whether its text, audio or video. Microsoft and Skinkers signed Microsoft’s first European "Equity for Technology" deal in June 2006. The deal has enabled Skinkers to acquire the rights to use Microsoft's commercial strength peer-to-peer technology. Working as a joint development partner, Skinkers is developing technology that will deliver real time content distribution, over IP networks.

Livestation
The first product that Skinkers will bring to market, built on the acquired Microsoft technology, is Livestation – the world’s first global broadcast network. This truly innovative solution offers a live TV news experience on your computer without buffering. Livestation is currently in a technical trial, if you are interested in potentially joining the trial, please visit www.livestation.com
