The Globo.com Skinker is a simple way to push and manage live news feeds (RSS) on the desktop, allowing Globo.com to retain and enhance relationships through a compelling, user-friendly desktop application. Unlike other RSS based products, the Globo.com Skinker combines desktop alerts with a scrolling desktop news ticker, in order to deliver the news in the way that the user chooses.

Users are able to select what areas of Globo.com news they would like to be notified about, as well as adding feeds from other websites. The alerts are delivered straight to the desktop in text, pictures, video and audio, over other applications; ensuring messages are seen at the time when they are most relevant. The Globo.com Skinker can be downloaded from the Globo.com website.
