Skinkers recognised as Gartner “Cool” CRM Vendor
Skinkers has been recognised by Gartner as a “Cool” CRM vendor. One of only a handful of companies to gain the accolade, Skinkers will showcase their latest CRM solutions for financial services, airlines and logistics at the Gartner CRM Summit.
According to Gartner, “There are certain basic elements that every organisation needs to get right to effectively manage their customer relationships. Solid foundations can be built by developing a clear CRM vision and strategy, focusing on compliance, security, rationalised platforms, ensuring good data quality and delivering a positive customer experience. However, for a business to compete and grow, it needs innovation not only of its products, but in how it attracts, keeps, and extends relationships with its customers.”
Skinkers CRM solutions are designed to solve communication problems and enable effective interactions with customers. In June 2006, the Financial Times ran an editorial discussing the effectiveness of customer communications and interactions between customers and the enterprise. They looked primarily at the digital communication channels available (email, the Internet, Instant Messenger (IM), and SMS) and their conclusion was stark: “In the ‘attention economy’ the value of email is rapidly approaching zero”.
