The Company of the Year Awards are organised by Vitesse Media, publisher of Business XL magazine.
Skinkers won the coveted New Markets Award which recognises the achievements of the company for their marketing and branding, sales growth and the market impact of their groundbreaking information broadcast technology.
Rob Noble, COO of Skinkers said “We are delighted and honoured to receive this award from Business XL. I would like to thank the judges for recognising our pioneering work with information broadcast technology.”
The judges commented “We felt Skinkers strength of marketing and branding techniques, communication to the marketplace, volume of sales and ambition for further expansion made them the clear winners.”
The judging panel included Marc Barber and Leslie Copeland from the Vitesse Media team, Ernie Richardson, CEO, MTI Partners, Mark Wignall, CEO, Matrix Private Equity Partners, Alistair Rose, Partner, PwC, Jeremy Furniss, Partner, Livingstone, Julia Chanteray, CEO, The Joy of Business, Tim Levett, Investment Director, NVM Private Equity and David Williams, Chief Executive, Avanti Screemedia Group.
Marc Barber, Editor of Business XL, commented “The entrepreneurial spirit in the UK is as strong as ever, but the winners of these awards stand out because they have shown substance behind their success.
