Developed in Flex and using the Adobe AIR 2 runtime, the Desktop Dashboard makes use of a number of APIis to request and present information to the user.

Working with NHS Choices Syndication, details of local health services can be searched for based on location or name and the results shown using Google Maps integration.

In addition, live text and image feeds are used to show estimated waiting times and real-time CCTV images from the waiting rooms at 4 urgent care facilities in the Lincolnshire area.

Whilst designed specifically to help people in Lincolnshire, most of the apps features (such as locating your nearest A&E or Dentist) will work with any postcode in England.
